🥇Jack Hunger, Alex Whipple and Ian Moran finished first in the tough fleet and light, lumpy super challenging conditions. Smooth gear changing was crucial!

Congrats to Evolution Sails customers at the James Island Yacht Club Father’s Day Regatta!

Champagne conditions and great race management made for a super event! We are honored that these teams chose Evolution as their sailmaker!

🌊2 - Sea Island One Design: George and Pete Durst, Clay Mobley
⛵️1,2,3,4 - Y Flyer: Dave Loring and Margaret Bost won every race. Will Hanckel and 9 year old son, Dixon were 2nd. Mark and Beth Sanders 3rd and Jason and Chloe Rucker were 4th.

Congrats to Team Canada on their win at the 2026 Lightning Junior World Championships!

Congratulations to Rory Walsh, Andre Deseau and Gustave Deseau in finishing first and winning 3 of the 8 races in a star studded fleet sailed in Jarvenpaa, Finland.

Sailing Inc powered by Evolution Sails own Team Resilent changed things up to get the next generation some tiller time.

With 11 year old Gunnison at the helm and his Mom, Heather on the bow, the goals were modest to beat a couple of boats and improve each race. The goals would be adjusted after Gunnison won his first race at the helm of the Thistle. The all family team stayed consistent throughout the series going 1,2,3,2,2 to win convincingly in puffy and shifty conditions on Kerr Lake. As if that wasn’t already an incredible Father’s Day weekend for Dad, Greg Griffin, the team also won the Governor’s Cup for overall best performance across all classes.

Team Resilient, representing Sailing Inc – Powered by Evolution Sails, continued their success with a third straight victory!⛵️
The team, consisting of Gunnison, Greg Griffin, and longtime teammate Mark Reddaway, concluded the series with a 14-point win in the Brown Jug Regatta. This victory secured their fourth consecutive South Atlantic District (SAD) Series title.

Evolution Sails customers were also well-represented on the leaderboard. Van, Zoe, and Jack Rogers won the final race to finish 4th in the regatta, earning 2nd place in the SAD series and the Bob McCormack trophy for the top woodie. Additionally, regatta chairs and supporters Adam and Peyton Ankers finished 6th, while Tanner, Wyatt, and Caroline Shultz finished 7th overall.

Despite challenging conditions with winds ranging from 0 to 10 mph from every direction, Evolution Sails won all four races of the event. Thank you for choosing Evolution!
