Congratulations are in order For Lake Metroparks ! We’ve been working with them on their campaign for Issue 2 and last night, Lake County voters passed their levy renewal and increase with 58% of the vote!

Huge shout out to our team, Lake Metroparks staff, and volunteers who all worked tirelessly to protect our Metroparks!

The renewal and increase, together, will cost property owners $36.32 annually per $100,000 home valuation, according to the Lake County Auditor’s Office, and will annually yield $7,316,079 million.…

As Cleveland looks toward a mayoral election, the logistics of running can present a hurdle.

“It does take a lot of support and a lot of help, and it requires a good organization and a good following and a good network of people,” said Jeff Rusnak, CEO of Ohio political consultancy R Strategy Group.

Before the candidates for mayor can truly compete in this year’s election, they have to clear one big, first hurdle.
