On July 24, Jennifer Johnson, Executive Director of Canopy Child Advocacy Center, took the stage at the City Club of Cleveland, one of the most prestigious civic forums in the country, to make the case for how a community protects its most vulnerable children.
Canopy is Cuyahoga County's only child advocacy center. Its model brings hospital systems, county agencies, prosecutors, law enforcement, and community providers under one roof, so that a child who discloses abuse tells their story once, in one safe place, instead of retelling it to different adults across different systems.
R Strategy Group was proud to support Jennifer and the Canopy team as they prepared for this moment. Our team partnered closely with Jennifer on communications strategy and helped bring the keynote to life in her own voice, grounded in Canopy's work and guided at every step by her vision.
