Hahn Loeser Trusts and Estates Partner and Cleveland practice group leader Dana Marie DeCapite was recently granted the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) designation by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC). AEP designation is a graduate level, multi-disciplinary specialization in estate planning, obtained in addition to already recognized professional credentials within the various disciplines of estate planning. It recognizes professionals who meet stringent requirements of experience, knowledge, education, professional reputation, and character, and commit to the team concept of estate planning.

An Arizona federal court granted Hahn Loeser’s motion to dismiss Sherman Act claims against its longtime client BAM Trading Inc, represented by partners Jeff Brauer and Michael Gleason. A plaintiff sought to certify a national class against BAM based on alleged market manipulation of cryptocurrency.

Last week, volunteers from Hahn Loeser and Cohen & Co had the privilege of partnering with the West Side Catholic Center to cook and serve meals for nearly 100 neighbors in our community.

The experience was a meaningful reminder of the impact that comes from showing up in service to others and supporting organizations doing important work in Northeast Ohio. We are especially grateful for the leadership of Ben Cooke, Hahn Loeser partner and WSCC Board member, whose commitment helps strengthen this valued community connection.
