Sad News...

You've probably seen the news reports of many craft brewers going out of business. It's unfortunate but there are a ton of them going out, seems like I hear about one every week.

A business expert was asked why he thought it was happening. Here was part of his response. -- "Craft brewers were so passionate about their craft that they lost sight of economic reality."

This same reason could be given for sooo many other industries. I've been working as a marketing consultant/coach for over 25 years. Many went into business because they were passionate about what they do, others because they're good at fixing cars, a great chef, or... they're great at... But they don't know the business side of the business very well, especially the marketing of their business.

They underestimate how important/difficult it is to get people in the door, to buy, call or...

It's been my job for over 25 years to show them how to market their business, now most opt to have us do their marketing for them.

I've been able to time and again change their business and in many cases change their life.

I recently had a past client call me to say he's close to going out of business and if he's able to come up with some money by selling some assets, he wants to hire me back, saying, "you're the best at what you do among all the others out there" For his sake, I hope it's not too late.

Just recently had a conversation with a business owner who reached out to me because he’s spending thousands of dollars every month on marketing, but he’s not able to get them to come back. That challenge is RIGHT IN OUR WHEELHOUSE. He also, mentioned he wanted more “quality” new customers. A look at the ads he’s running and we can fix that issue too.
