Great news, Tennessee has approved a new Slow Down Move over specialty plate.

Purpose: Created to raise awareness and memorialize tow truck drivers, supporting the legal requirement to move over for stopped emergency, utility, and maintenance vehicles.
Design: Features bold text, a flag, and a hook-and-chain symbol to remind drivers to make a lane change or slow down to at least 20 mph below the posted speed limit when passing stopped vehicles with flashing lights.

We must have 1,000 preorders before production will begin. You can order yours today by clicking link below. It’s $35 ( plus processing fees) to order , then will be $35 annually when you renew your plates.

This morning, we had the honor of attending the Wall of the Fallen ceremony to pay our respects to the ones who have lost their lives in our line of work.

Hearing their ages read aloud puts so much into perspective, from 18 year olds whose lives were just beginning to those in their 70s who deserved more time with their families. Every name was someone’s loved one. Every one of them deserved to make it home.

Today is Slow Down, Move Over Day, but that responsibility belongs to every day. Your phone, your hurry or a moment of carelessness is never worth someone’s life. Please give those working on the roadside the room they need to get home to their families.

This past week, we also sent members of our team to training classes to continue building their knowledge and skills and we enjoyed another year at the Tennessee Tow Show. If you’ve never been, we encourage you to go and see the people, equipment and dedication behind this industry.
