Leaning Tree Glassworks I'm Kelly, a third generation stained glass artist located in the beautiful Tennessee Valley.

I'm proud to use the same technique passed down by my Grandma, while putting my own spin on things.

My heart is absolutely shattered and the glass world has been rocked. Yesterday, Kokomo Opalescent Glass announced that they are halting all production of their sheet glass; the same glass that I and thousands of other artists use every single day. Kokomo is one of the greats, every sheet of glass is made by human hand right here in US. The amount of love and detail that goes in to each sheet is unmatched...
I pray that they rise from the ashes like a phoenix and continue what they've started. Until then, I'll cherish each little bit and make sure it's used for the best pieces; just as it was intended.

The 'ber months are finally here, so we can start talking about Halloween now!! 🦇

Nevermind we're in the middle of a heatwave... Which is why we just enjoyed a pumpkin pie blizzard from DQ 😉 in my heart it's fall and no one can take that from me! I saw a maple tree starting to change color so let me have my delusion.

My first little bat for the season is ready! His friends are in the workshop waiting for polish, but I couldn't resist seeing this guy in the last bits of sunshine for the day.

Y'all know I can't go and get a new kiln and not get some candy to go with it. Come on, y'all know me better than that!
I'm most excited about the frit! I have so many ideas!

Thank you Christine! You put together such a great box and everything made it here safe and sound. It killed me to wait for it to get dark to see it all properly. I cannot wait to play with it, that frit especially!

I've been impatiently waiting for the shelf to arrive for my new kiln and its finally here!

Now that I can get this party started, I spent my afternoon putting together what will be beautiful necklace pendants. They'll be fired all the way to 1500 overnight and I'll be able to see the magic first thing in the morning! 🔥
