What an honor! DigitalC yesterday three 2026 Broadband Communities Awards at the Summit in Houston, Texas.

The awards, which drew more entries than ever before and were evaluated through an external, independent judging process, reflect growing recognition of a community-based broadband model that solves for affordability without compromising quality, delivers the connectivity experience residents deserve, and can scale through strong public, private and philanthropic partnerships.
Since launching our citywide initiative in 2024, DigitalC has connected more than 12,500 households, trained more than 30,000 residents in digital skills, and expanded the model to Detroit. With a broad network of supporters behind us, we went from impossible to improbable to impactful.
It would be impossible to name everyone who has played an important role in reaching this milestone, but we are deeply grateful to our Board of Directors, our team, subscribers, skilling participants, vendors and partners, including the City of Cleveland, Cleveland City Council, the State of Ohio Department of Development, the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Foundation, Rocket Community Fund, and so many others who have been part of this growth story.
We are especially appreciative to Broadband Communities for the recognition and proud to stand alongside so many organizations helping move the industry forward. Congratulations to all the nominees and winners!
