This one is hard for me to share.

I wrote Broken Naivety as a poem quite some time ago following my divorce. Sometimes to let go of something it helps to put it down in words as a way to store the feelings without allowing the feelings to eat you alive.

I went back and forth on whether I even wanted to share it publicly. Ultimately, I decided to because I know I’m not the only person who has felt some of the things behind these words. With the help of modern technology I’ve turned the poem into a song. If you relate to it, I hope you know you’re not alone.

This is Broken Naivety.

There is a follow up poem as I’m no longer in that place. I may share at a later time.
