I was drawn to ENGin because I truly believe this nonprofit can have a worldwide impact; starting with the people of Ukraine and then to become the model for many nations striving to be free, sovereign, and independent.

One-of-a-kind program pairs Ukrainian youth with English speakers for free online conversation practice and cross-cultural connection. Work with students age 10-35 and volunteers age 14+. Volunteers need to dedicate 1 hour a week to ENGin for at least 10-12 weeks. We can accommodate more. Volunteers should be native English speakers or fluent in English and be at least 14 years old.

On Friday, February 24, at 5 PM, there will be a Vigil for the People of Ukraine held in Depot Square, at the Gazebo, in Chatham, NY. Co-sponsored by Ukraine Solidarity-Albany, NY and Rivers & Mountains GreenFaith, the event will occur on the one-year anniversary of the Russian military invasion of Ukraine. Participants are urged, if possible, to bring small flashlights and signs with slogans such as: "Solidarity with the People of Ukraine," "Solidarity with Ukraine," and "End the War on Ukraine."
