Getting excited for what’s ahead!

A few members of the SNRG Committee got together this afternoon for a productive planning session focused on the future of our group. We spent time aligning on expectations, participation, and how we can continue building a strong, sustainable organization that serves our members well.

We’re dreaming big and working intentionally to create events, connections, and opportunities that truly reflect our four pillars and bring even more value to everyone involved.

Did you know the Capital District YMCA has a dedicated Parkinson’s Center?

Yesterday morning, the Senior Networking Resource Group (SNRG) had the opportunity to tour the YMCA’s Parkinson’s Center and learn more about the incredible programs and resources available to individuals living with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.

From evidence-based wellness programs to specialized fitness opportunities, support, education, and community connection, it was inspiring to see firsthand the impact this center is making in the lives of so many individuals and families throughout our region.

A huge thank you to the YMCA team for opening your doors, sharing your knowledge, and showing us the meaningful work being done every day.

I love opportunities like this that remind us just how many amazing resources exist right here in the Capital District.
