Accounting standards are in a constant state of change. Just when many of my municipal clients have gotten a grasp of GASB 45, the standard is set to change.

I don’t want to bring you bad news, but a new standard is to become effective in the coming years. The new standard is to be known as GASB 75 and it will supersede GASB 45.

This new standard is a bit more complex than GASB 45. The good news is that clients of Jefferson Solutions, Inc. will not need to do all that much to be in compliance. Our firm has been known for making the GASB 45 accounting process easy and convenient. We will continue to deliver the same level of quality and convenience when the new standard becomes effective.
