Mobile InvisiHead Intake & Brine Discharge System for Mobile RO Plants
Flow Description
7300 m3/h 5m Mobile InvisiHead seawater intake system http://www.amecosys.com/elmosa/2019-01-02_10-50-26.jpg and outfall system http://www.amecosys.com/elmosa/InvisiHead_for_reverse_osmosis_RO_desalination_brine_disposal.jpg made especially for mobile RO plants. Low-on-SDI self-reliant systems made to be installed in shallow 2.5m surf zones near the shore; and will need the absolute minimum of multimedia and UF pretreatment; trailer-mounted, easily assembled and dismantled InvisiHead equip provide the option of fast system deployment.
The cone of clarification in the newly released technology is integrated in this InvisiHead mobile version to adequately handle turbulent waters that may contain suspended sediment. The flow velocity across the cross-sectional area leaving the InvisiHead Zone of Diversion is less than 0.13m/s. This velocity meets and exceeds the US EPA standard of 0.15m/s limit https://cawaterlibrary.net/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Desal-intake-mitigation-report.pdf. It will leave behind sediments, marine life and debris that will be flushed out of Zone of Diversion by the prevailing marine currents and returned to the ambient. If both lower and upper outlets are simultaneously activated, V will drop to 0.065m/s that will flush out more suspended matter.
Power consumption: Nearly zero kW
The InvisiHeadR System Loss: It is negligibly low; the nature of its hyperbolic paraboloidal design fine-tunes it to the flow streamlines. The loss coefficient, KL , was experimentally determined to be
