Every year at this time, I take a moment to thank all the bands and venues that I have worked with during the year. Although this year has again been curtailed due to COVID, the thanks is no different. Thank you to the and , Patrick Crump, Gordon Masterson, Alescio Pro Sound, as well as bands Soundtown Baltimore, , All Star Band, ,, the Retro Band and all the bands that I have forgotten. Thank you for allowing me to work with you. I hope you had as much fun as I did.

This year is different, however, as this is the last that I will be writing this thank you note. In February, as many of you know, or may have heard, I was diagnosed with Adrenal Cortical Cancer, resulting in 2 surgeries and multiple chemical attacks on it that will continue on into the foreseeable future that is making it impossible to continue the work I love. As many of you know, my ability to say no is difficult and you may still see me from time to time, in the audience or behind the board, but, right now my health comes first.

Join me and tomorrow at New Year's Eve bash for what is, officially at least, my last official gig behind the board.

It has been a fantastic decade of working with you all creating music in the DMV.

Every year, at this time, I like to take a minute and express my gratitude for all the bands, venues and crew members that I am privileged to work with during the year. These people make my job not just a job, but a joy. Every year the list grows longer and I am grateful for that, because these are all friends and I treasure them as such. I inevitably fail to remember some names or the tags don't work right, but that is unintentional, but I do my best to get it right. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of you, especially this year.

Thank you Ned Devine's Irish Bar and Restaurant, The Renegade, BCS Barbecue, SLHS Parents for the Choral Arts, MSE Productions, TriumphDC, Tunnels End, For The Win - DC, Screaming Monkeys, All Star Band, As If - 90's Tribute, Gutterball Kingpin, American Fireball, Soundtown Baltimore, Fat Whiskey, Noise in the Basement, Cheaper Than Therapy, Twisted Flags, i-Talians the band, IT'S ALL GOOD, Delta Spur, Livin' the Dream, Manther, Nobody's Business Band, Groovalicious and apologies to those bands I left out.

Thanks also to Audio Assurance, James Alescio at Alescio Pro Sound, Robbie Anderson at Anderson Pro Audio and Rusty Timberlake for all the cooperative help all year.

A special thanks to my crew members this year - Mollie Cave, Cameron Bittinger, Shadée Perry, Miles Holt, Dan Eisenberg, James Pergerson, without whom, this would not be possible. We bid a fond farewell to former crew member Harley McCoy as he launched out on the road with a new band and wish him well.

I look forward to another wonderful year with you all in 2020. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
