Two acres isn’t always “two acres” when it comes to brush work.

Looking at a property from above, you can already see why.

Some areas may be open enough to move through quickly. Others can be thick with saplings, brush, deadfall, wet ground, rocks, or tight access.

That’s why acreage by itself doesn’t tell you what a brush-clearing job should cost.

What matters is the density, terrain, access, what size material is growing there, and what you want the property to look like when the job is finished.

Same acreage. Completely different job.

That’s why I’d rather look at the property first than throw out a price based on a number on a map.

This one was swallowed up pretty good.

Opened the stand back up, cleared the brush around it, and cut shooting lanes so the property is actually ready to hunt again.

Sometimes you don’t need to clear the whole woods — just the right areas to make the property work the way you want it to.
