Ever wonder why they call those Glass Domed Clocks / Anniversary Clocks ?
They supposed to, only have to be wound only
Once a year to run .
Clock Repairman would recommend using your Anniversary or another event that you will remember to wind it.
Thus the name , Anniversary Clock was coined !

Here's a little tis bit of information you may want to know.
The Cuck-Koo Clock has increased in popularity and to purchase a new one has gone up considerably.
When I use to sell them years ago , they ranged $100 - $300. Dollars. / Today $300 - to Thousands ?
Depending on it size and funtions.

Just finished repairng a Ships clock.
They are quite unique .
They ring every 1/2 hour for their watch shifts.
Example : 12:00 / end of a shift and start of another. It rings 8 times
12:30 it rings once/ 1:00 twice / 1:30 three times - excetra till 4:00 / 8 times.
New shift takes over.

Just finished these 3 clocks.
Each clock depending on repairs needed, take 1 day to 1 week to get running.
People from all over come in. Its amazing how word travels.
It must be my Face Book Friends , in part.

There isn't a lot of accolades , because people don't understand what I do. It's kind of unique and a lost craft.

Just finished this grand father clock for a customer.
Tough job! But they were very happy, they were told it couldn't. Be repaired.
I like what I do!
