🍑 FARM SPOTLIGHT: Black's Peaches | York, SC
We work with farms every day, and our new Farm Spotlight series is our chance to share a little more about the people and places behind them.
We’re starting with Black’s Peaches, where the Black family has been farming since 1718 and growing peaches since 1923. Today, Beth White, daughter of Arthur Black, represents the fourth generation of peach growers in her family.
And peaches are only the beginning.
They grow strawberries, tomatoes, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, pumpkins, Christmas trees, flowers and lots of hay. Their farm market is packed with fresh produce and local goods, their grill serves lunch five days a week, and throughout the year they offer everything from pick-your-own experiences to their annual fall festival.
But what really stands out is their commitment to community. The Black family believes that when you support your community, your community supports you in return—and you can see that in the generations of customers who continue coming back.
If you’re near York, SC, go see them! Shop the farm market, grab lunch or an ice cream, pick something in season and experience Black’s Peaches for yourself. 🍑
We’re proud to kick off our Farm Spotlight series with Black’s—and we can’t wait to introduce you to more of the farms we have the privilege of working with. 🌱
