30 Years of Family, Faith & Hard Work
The Story of M&M Screen Printing & Embroidery (1996–2026)

In 1996, a father and son took a leap of faith.

With determination, long hours, and a belief that quality and integrity still mattered, Scott Machado and his father George Machado opened the doors to what would become M&M Screen Printing & Embroidery — right in the heart of downtown Clovis.

There was no big corporate backing.
No investors.
Just family, work ethic, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

In the beginning, it was hands-on in every sense of the word. Screens were burned manually. Shirts were stacked by hand. Jobs were delivered personally. Every order mattered — because every customer mattered.

Scott grew up in the industry. Printing wasn’t just a business — it was in his blood. Working side by side with his father, he learned more than just how to run presses and thread embroidery machines. He learned:

• Take care of your word
• Treat employees like family
• Do what you say you’re going to do
• Never sacrifice quality for speed
Those values became the foundation of M&M.
As Clovis and Fresno grew, so did M&M.
What started as a small operation became a full-scale production shop.

Hello,

My name is Scott Machado and I’m proud to share the story of my journey with M&M Screen Printing & Embroidery. This business is more than just a company to me—it’s a legacy built on hard work, family, and a passion for creating quality products for our community.

In 1996, my father, George, and I started this venture with a shared dream. We began in a small building on Blackstone, sharing space with Handcuff Sweatshirts. Those early days were filled with challenges, but they laid the foundation for what would become a thriving business. After six months, we moved to a location near the airport, where we operated for eight years.

In 2004, the same year my son was born, we moved to downtown Clovis. This marked a new chapter for M&M Screen Printing & Embroidery. Over the years, we’ve grown from a small family operation to a team of 12 dedicated employees. Together, we’ve expanded our services to include screen printing, embroidery, laser engraving, signs and banners, and all types of advertising specialties.

In 2017, we lost my father, George. His passing was a profound loss, but his vision and dedication continue to inspire me every day. I am committed to carrying on his legacy by upholding the values he instilled in this business: quality, integrity, and a commitment to serving our customers with excellence.

At M&M Screen Printing & Embroidery, we take pride in being more than just a business. We’re a part of the community, helping local organizations, schools, and businesses bring their ideas to life through custom products. Whether it’s a team jersey, a promotional item, or a personalized gift, we pour our heart into every project.
