WHAT IS LURKING IN YOUR ATTIC BEFORE WINTER? 🦇🦝🐁

Take a look at these recent photos from local attics we’ve inspected. Heavy raccoon contamination, bat guano build-up, shredded HVAC ducts, and destroyed insulation.

‼️With Ohio’s protected bat season deadline landing on October 15th, your window to fix bat intrusions and seal entry points is closing fast! ‼️

Once the deadline hits, state laws restrict bat exclusion methods until spring.

We are offering DISCOUNTED ATTIC INSPECTIONS from now until October 15th!

If your attic requires exclusion, cleanup, or re-insulation, 100% of your inspection fee will be credited directly toward your service balance!

What we check:
Bat guano & raccoon dropping contamination,
Shredded insulation & damaged ductwork,
Roofline gaps, soffit entry points, ridge vents, insulation codes and more!

ATTENTION OHIO HOMEOWNERS: Time is running out for bat exclusions! 🦇

Ohio law restricts exterior bat removal from October 15th through March 31st to protect hibernating bats. If you have bats in your attic or soffits, the window to legally exclude them and seal your home is closing fast!

❌ After Oct 15: Exterior exclusion devices cannot be installed without a state permit.
✅ Before Oct 15: We can safely and humanely exclude the colony and seal your roofline.
🏠 Year-Round: We can always seal off interior routes to keep bats out of your living areas.

Don’t get stuck sharing your home with bats all winter long.
📲 Contact Buckeye Wildlife Solutions NW today to get your inspection on the books before the blackout date!

From bat infestation to fully restored attic!

Our team was out in Holland, OH dealing with an active bat situation in a customer's attic. We safely evicted the bats using one way bat valves, then sealed up the roof line using Peak Protector along the ridge vent and securing the upper perimeter.
To wrap it up, we completed a full attic restoration by removing contaminated insulation, sanitizing the entire space, and blowing in new insulation up to code. Safe, clean, and fully sealed!

Tyler responded to a call for a bat inspection and removal today. The homeowners did a great job closing off the room, but the little guy was nowhere to be seen at first glance—until Tyler checked behind a picture frame on the wall! Bats can roost in tight, unexpected crevices as small as 3/8 of an inch, making them easy to miss if you don't know where to look. 🦇

Give us a call before Ohio’s next protected bat season!

October 16 through March 31: Hibernation restriction.
Bats are resting or hibernating, and sealing them out causes inhumane deaths or forces active bats into living spaces. ⤵️

‼️ Content Warning / Sensitive Content ‼️

Not every day on the job is an easy one.

While we love helping animals and resolving conflicts safely, wildlife management also means handling the tougher realities of nature. We recently received a call from a homeowner to remove the remains of a young fawn that had unfortunately gotten caught trying to jump this fence.

It’s a sad reminder of how close wildlife lives alongside us, but we're always glad to step in and handle the heavy, uncomfortable jobs so our community and homeowners don't have to.

Ever wonder what a full attic cleanout actually looks like? 🧹
Here is a behind-the-scenes look at the Buckeye Wildlife Solutions NW crew sucking out old, contaminated insulation after a bat infestation🦇Once wildlife gets into your attic, they leave behind mess and bacteria that ruin your insulation and affect your home's air quality.

We handle the entire process from installing eviction valves and sealing up the roof line to vacuuming out every bit of debris, sanitizing the whole space, and blowing in fresh new insulation.

‼️If you suspect pests are nesting overhead, drop us a message or give us a call to get your attic fully restored!

BEFORE & AFTER 🏠💥

Our technician Tyler took care of a major entry point on this home. Squirrels, bats, and other animals were getting inside through a section of completely rotted fascia.

Tyler stripped out all the compromised wood, rebuilt the structural framing, and wrapped it with custom aluminum trim coil to secure the gutter line and prevent future water and animal intrusion. To completely secure the home, he also installed peak protectors, bat valves, custom louver vents, and executed a full upper perimeter exclusion.

Rotted wood replaced, entry points sealed, and the home is fully protected.
