Sad to see!
Certainly not the way you wanna find em. 😔
As hunters we are often misinterpreted. A lot of people that don’t hunt or understand hunting see us as killers. They think we just like to kill things to make us feel empowered. They think we don’t appreciate the life of an animal. That’s so far from the truth it’s ridiculous.
Every deer hunter will see this picture and hate that this happened to these bucks. Not because we missed an opportunity to kill one ourselves but because these two suffered a long and painful death. Anyone that is a true hunter never wants to see an animal suffer! We as hunters appreciate the animals life so much that we strive to understand the best environments in which these animals can express their full potential. We put in the work it takes to provide that environment. It’s hard work, lots of money, long hours in the field, many days spent on wildlife improvements could be spent else where but again, we are so passionate about the animals we are willing to make that sacrifice.
So before you bash a hunter for killing a deer remember the chances are he’s worked his or her butt off for that deer! That deer is gonna provide many meals for his or her family! It’s not about a trophy! Without hunting the wildlife WILL SUFFER! Sit on your couch and enjoy your store bought meal, as for us we will NEVER stop hunting and we will NEVER stop caring about the wildlife! 🦌
