People say that a picture is worth a thousand words – and that is a phrase that Cochran wife and mother Monaca Bryant Robinson takes to heart. “A picture can tell a story.”
She said, “When you share the story, you remember the love.”
For years, Monaca has been taking photos at family events, school functions and even as a volunteer for a local news media outlet. She said, her birth father, Terry
Bryant, who passed away when Monaca was a child, “used to take pictures, and even developed his own in the 1960s and 70s.”
She added, “I guess that this is where my love and passion for photography comes from.”
With the digital photography, she sees it as an outlet of doing something for people. She does charge an affordable and family-friendly rate, and will go to people “for sessions, or I will meet anyone at a location … I have done both.” Monaca can use most anything as a background, and relies on nature for most scenes. Monaca's photographs have been published on the WMAZ-13 website "Where You Live," and she is a regular contributor on the online media site, the Tri-County Monitor.
