Nature decided to put on a show outside the office today! 🌈🌈

Fun Fact: Double rainbows reverse their colors. The second, fainter rainbow reflects light twice, turning the color order upside down with violet on the outside and red on the inside!

A couple of Mallard Ducks stopped by our jobsite in Virginia to make sure we were doing a good job restoring their favorite stream. 🦆

🦆 💤Fun fact: Mallards can sleep with half their brain at a time (unihemispheric sleep). This allows them to physically rest while keeping one eye open and focused to watch out for predators.

🐝🦋 Happy Pollinator Week! 🌼🌿
One of nature's many hardworking pollinators enjoying a sunny day. ☀

June is National River Month! 🌿

At Meadville Land Service, rivers and streams are at the heart of what we do. Healthy waterways provide clean water, support wildlife, reduce flooding, and create beautiful places for future generations to enjoy.

Throughout the year, our crews work to restore degraded streams, stabilize eroding banks, improve water quality, and reconnect natural habitats. Every project is a step toward healthier rivers and stronger ecosystems.

This National River Month, take a moment to appreciate the waterways in your community—whether it's a favorite fishing spot, kayaking destination, or the stream running through your local park.

Together, we can help keep our rivers flowing clean and healthy for years to come. 💧🌎
