They may look similar, but what's underneath and on top makes a big difference in how they perform and how long they last.

Here is what really matters:
- Core type - SPC and WPC offer different levels of stability and dent resistance
- Wear Layer - thicker wear layers handle kids, pets, and heavy traffic better
- Texture & realism - embossing and bevels create a more natural look
- Underlayment - affects comfort and sound
- Installation quality - just as important as the product itself.

The right LVP isn't just about color; it's about choosing a floor that fits your lifestyle and space.

Make sure you are comparing more than just the price tag!!

MIL wear Layer does matter, here's why:

The wear layer is the clear protective top layer on luxury vinyl plank. It's what takes the abuse from:
-Foot traffic
- Pet's nails
- Scratches and dents
- Spills and stains
- Daily wear & tear

A mil is one-thousandth of an inch (0.001")
12 mil = light protection
20 mil = moderate protection
24 mil+ = heavy-duty protection
