🏍️ 18 More Miles at Laurel Creek 🏍️

The Maintenance and Trail Ranger staff just opened up 18 more miles of trails in Tazewell County on our Laurel Creek system!

Maps coming soon but check out the fresh dirt, insane views, and more reasons to ride this fall.

Huge shoutout to our operators who sweated out the hardest part of the summer to make this happen!

OFFICIALLY ELKTOBER 🦌

We rode Coal Canyon this weekend and saw over 60 elk from the trails! This is the only spot in Virginia to check out the wild elk in their habitat.

There is no additional charge to ride. All pre-registered riders entered to win a gift pack. You must have a Spearhead Trails permit and you are expected to stay with the group!

📢 Calling Local Businesses!

We are launching our Spearhead Trails Passport program this fall, where riders will be able to visit select businesses, present their permit and earn a stamp.

Once all stamps are collected, riders mail their completed Passport to our HQ building and receive trail gear mailed to them.

Local Businesses! If you want to be part of our first group, apply via the link in comments. E-mail [email protected] for questions. Requirements include:

📍 Must be accessible via ATV / UTV from our trails or approved VDOT road
👉 Must have a dedicated front desk / attendant for riders to collect their stamp

SPOTS ARE LIMITED. Businesses with destination appeal, online presence, up-to-date website and social, weekend hours, menus and offerings will be given strongest consideration.

THERE IS NO COST for your business for this program (unless you want to offer something for permit holders like a discount, sticker, free drink, etc.)
