Dave Raglin for Idaho

Dave Raglin for Idaho I value families, neighbors, and kindness to one another above personal agendas. I want to do my part to be a voice for North Idaho and represent all!

I have 38 years in transportation management and ownership. I worked for (UPS) for 10 years. I managed an Air Freight Forwarding agency company out of Seattle, SBA Global for 2 years, managing sales and operations teams. I opened and operated as CEO of my own Logistics business, Total Logistics Services, for 14 years, moving Large Air Logistics worldwide. I then found myself moving my experience o

ver to the rail industry and working for BNSF Railways for 12 years. I was on their engineering management team, managing railway infrastructure and working with local counties and city governments along the routes. Now, I am beginning my next venture with my wife, Heather, as we own a local agency that works with Developmentally Disabled Adults, Coordinated Services of Idaho. Our purpose is to assist these adults with being independent and remaining in their own homes, be successful in their daily lives, and be part of the community, right here in North Idaho.

Thank You to All of My Neighbors and Friends of Precinct # 409 for my re-election. Also, a thank you to Anne Wighdahl Subia who as a good Republican, ran a great and friendly race! That is what is needed for all Republicans moving forward, we are on the same team. Again, I always ask for you, my neighbors of Precinct 409, to please, contact me via email or my website, let me know your stance on where we to be as a party. Lets make the next 2 years stronger for republicans and come together for Coeur d' Alene, Kootenai County and North Idaho.

Don’t Let Them Change Idaho!

Dear Neighbor and True North Idahoan,

Dave Raglin here, your current Precinct 409 committeeman. Where to start? I guess I will frame it this way. If you have paid attention to my election letters mailed to you over the last 2 years, or you have been to my website at www.daveraglinforidaho.com, I have kept you informed and presented all issues that are important to us, as republicans.

And just as I said in the last election season of 2025 and just like each of you feel, is all this bad political back and forth name calling and fighting amongst republicans. And I do not like to get into that, that does not produce solutions and worse, it isolates “you” the republican voters.

I could go into detail that this “New” Freedom caucus, but I will not. I will not engage in this type of political rhetoric. You have all seen my letters and my website and what together as a republican precinct promoted, especially Prop 1 in 2024, which was a big NO!

I am for those that have lived here long before those that just arrived. So, when we talk about protecting the traditions and values of Coeur ‘d Alene and Kootenai County, that isn’t politics to us — my wife (4th generation North Idahoan), whose father was Kootenai County Commissioner 2 times and Mayor of Post Falls, is also why we are invested here. Our employees, our business, let me tell you, it is all personal to us.

I have shared with you about Great Grandma Burch celebrating her 100th birthday at Hudson’s Hamburgers back in 2005 — a reminder that places like Hudson’s are more than businesses; they are living pieces of Kootenai County history. https://cdapress.com/news/2025/jun/15/huckleberries-take-a-hike-goat-trail/

For too long, the current Kootenai County Republican Central Committee leadership (or the new Freedom Cacus) has pushed a top-down approach that does not reflect the values or voices of everyday Republicans and North Idahoans in our precincts any longer. The current KCRCC Executive Committee is represented by those appointed, not elected Precinct Committeemen who represent you, the Republican voters of Kootenai County, let alone Precinct 409!

You do not have to be born and raised here, you moved here years ago, knowing what our values are, neighborliness, hard work, our constitutional rights, including the Second Amendment, keeping taxes low, and fighting for limited government that stays out of our pocketbook, along with religious beliefs and respect for this land.

This has been stitched into our daily lives. We all have a stake in this place that predates many newcomers of late, and we care deeply about keeping it a community of which we are proud.

Yes, it is time for change. As your Precinct Committeeman, I will keep fighting to make our party truly representative of our community like it used to be- welcoming to every Republican who shares our core principles. No more division. No more exclusion from our community and no more pitting Republicans against Republicans, which is not the Idaho way. Just strong, unified leadership that listens to you.

Do your research and spend an hour (at least) reviewing all candidates. Go to their websites, read their ligature, even reach out, and ask me if you have questions at [email protected]. Do not go by a card, you owe it to your freedom to research yourself and then exercise that constitutional right that 100’s of 1000’s of our veterans has fought for you to have. And that is voting for “your” choice!

On Tuesday, May 19, 2026, you will have the chance to vote in the Republican Primary. This is your opportunity to elect precinct committeemen who will bring real change to the Kootenai County Republican Party. I respectfully ask for your vote so we can restore principled, representative leadership from the ground up.

Please feel free to contact me at [email protected] with any questions or concerns. Together, we can make our Party stronger, our county better, and our values secure for the next generation.

Vote for Leaders the put Coeur d’ Alene and North Idaho first and have been here long enough to know!

Thank you for your time and your vote!

Dave Raglin

Governor Cecil Andrus was there for the beginning of the end of the “Goat Trail.” On June 16, 1975, the Idaho Democrat and hundreds of others dedicated a 7-mile stretch of Highway 95 on White Bird Hill, south of Grangeville.

So to make it clear, there is a list going around with my name on it. But, you better check in with my Republican Precinct 409. October 19, 2024, I mailed out 525 letters to my precinct in regards to Prop 1 to Vote NO.

The my website also displayed the same thing. You can use the Wayback Time Machine at https://web.archive.org/. Go and See pick your dates any time. Totally against Prop 1 and to Vote NO. https://web.archive.org/web/20240101000000*/www.daveraglinforidaho.com.

And several in my precinct asked my why we should Vote No and I posted an example on why The Open Primary was bad bad bad and to Vote No. Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1DaMFqX4FF/.
