2013 activities include facilitating an East-West Center seminar on local democracy in Asia held in India, teaching NYU grad courses on innovative leadership for sustainable human development in Summer and Fall semesters, facilitating, training, writing and speaking for the UN's global forum on public service to be held in Bahrain, training women from Ghana and youth from around the world at the NYU Research Center for Leadership in Action and preparing a book for publication on Decentralizing Governance: Innovative Policy Perspectives.

2012 activities included facilitating an East-West Center workshop on local democracy in Asia held in Indonesia, teaching innovative leadership at NYU Wagner Grad School of Public Service, speaking, facilitating and writing for the UN global forum on citizen engagement in NYC, speaking at the ICAI global conference on human development in Nepal and facilitating a UN staff training/planning retreat in NYC.

Next week, two days of training of the branch facilitators for a division of the UN that will hold its annual staff retreat in December. They will lead day two of the three day event.

Tomorrow morning 9 am EST there is an online presentation and dialogue on the NYU Wagner innovative leadership course as part of the pre-conference activities of the Leadership theme of the ICAI global conference on human development held in Kathmandu later this month.

Our course on "innovative leadership for human development" begins in May at NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.

This year our work of innovative leadership curriculum building in Nepal is sponsored by the Fulbright Specialist Program. The conference in Jordan where a technical paper will be presented on urban leadership in Iraq is sponsored by UN-Habitat. And in Tanzania, UNDESA has asked for help to make a global forum on leadership more participatory and meaningful for the 400 participants from 80 countries.
