Ten years ago, I started Christina Kanu Consulting. A year later, I became a mother.

Now, nearly a decade later, I am preparing to welcome our daughter.

In between those two moments, I became a wife, a mother to Jayce, a bonus mom to two beautiful daughters, and a woman who has learned to trust God through every season.

One of the greatest blessings of this chapter has been creating a maternity leave plan that works for my family, my team, and myself.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing more about that journey and the roadmap I wish I had when I first became a mother and entrepreneur.

And that’s a wrap on THIRD Grade!

Third grade was a year ! We are exceptionally proud of our Jayce for being the scholar athlete that he is. He is a leader and no matter the obstacles of this year he excelled!

Jayce received an Academic Achievement Award and the “Multiplication Master” Award!

Thank you to everyone who supported Jayce the entire school year. Now is time for a MUCH needed Summer Break 🥰🙌🏾☀️

Kicking Off Q2 with some reintroductions of Team CKC.

What a blessing it is to work with some of the most brilliant minds. There is a saying in business to hire people who know more than you. I don’t know everything and that is ok. But I am smart enough to know the best business investment you can make is getting a team.

Our theme for 2026 has been “Cruise Control”. What does it mean to elevate to greater heights and to ensure that every person on your team knows how to play their role effectively? If you know me you know I LOVE themes so this has been very exciting to explore.

Thank you to the greatest team to ever do it. Thank you to everyone who shows a tremendous amount of love for the women who make up Christina Kanu Consulting! My favorite thing besides working with them every day is seeing how they continue to grow professionally and personally. When I think about legacy that is what legacy means to me 💙

Congratulations to my husband Coach Rob and the entire KSU MBB for winning the Conference USA Conference Tournament.

Baby you said this would happen and by faith and prayers here we are again celebrating in confetti ! God’s favor is all over you!

This season has been a true test of faith and resilience but God will always have the final say ! Proverbs 16:1 🙌🏾

There are truly no words describe the pain I feel about the tragic events that happened on the campus of Old Dominion University.

ODU is home. ODU is Family. ODU is love.

My heart goes out to the entire family of Lt. Col. Brandon Shah. Thank you for your service and for selflessly developing the next generation of Monarch Leaders.

I am praying for the entire Old Dominion University Family and Community. A lot of us feel so many emotions because of our love for ODU. We are living in crazy times and now is the time to be a good person, love others, and try to do good each and every day. Through the light that God has placed in each of us we will get through this.
