After some hot, smoky days, lots of help from friends, family, and clients, and nearly 50 hours of painting, our Enable Art mural is officially finished!

As the artist and creator of the concept, I wanted this mural to celebrate the growing connection between College Place, WA, and Jungapeo, Michoacán, Mexico through the Sister City project.

The flowers represent both communities, native Pacific Northwest flowers on the left and native Mexican flowers on the right, coming together around the shared message: Community Grows Here / La Comunidad Crece Aquí.

A huge thank you to Wildhorse Resort & Casino for the grant that made this project possible, City of College Place for supporting the vision, and everyone who picked up a brush and helped bring my concept to life!

Community truly grows here. ❤️

It’s that time of year again!!! After school art classes start the forst of september!
YOUTH & ADULT CLASSES | TUESDAYS 3:15-5:00pm
We will be focusing on character creation, d&d, and mixed media, check the calendar for the dates and class options.

KIDS AFTER SCHOOL ART | WEDNESDAYS 3:15-5:00pm
This is our program we run every year. We offer lots of different mediums and practice our techniques to grow our students skills.
You can meet weekly or monthly. We hope to see you this school year!

What’s happening this week at Enable Art?
Tomorrow night, Tuesday from 6-8:30pm, we are doing our Kinusaiga fabric craft class. Wednesday night, 6-7:30 we are doing our beautiful oil pastel mini class.

Our auction has officially been live for almost 24 hours, and the bids are starting to roll in! 🎨 We have over 100 original pieces of art up for auction, all to help raise funds for our studio.
The past few months have been especially challenging for Enable Art. Things have been slower than usual, and we’re still working to catch up from the months Chloe was unable to work following her surgeries in April and May.

We are so excited our clay projects are back from the kiln! A huge thank you and shout out to p a i g e for helping us fire our projects!
We aren’t a pottery studio but it was fun playing with clay this summer!
If you want a fun pottery experience you should check out our amazing local business The Refinery downtown Walla Walla, Jess is the professional when it comes to clay and has a beautiful studio!
If you are looking for other fun art programs make sure you also check out Alison at Make For Joy Art Studio they have some pretty amazing art and crafting programs as well located right behind the Colville Street Patisserie
