🏡 Hiring an HVAC Company? Don’t Choose on Price Alone.

A new HVAC system is one of the biggest investments you’ll make in your home. Before you sign a contract, ask these important questions:

🏠 Is the company locally owned?
Local companies have a reputation to protect. They’re invested in serving their community and are more likely to be there when you need them in the future.

👤 Is the owner actively involved?
When the owner is hands-on in the day-to-day operation, there’s often a higher level of accountability, quality, and customer service.

🔧 Who will actually install your system?
Not every company uses its own installation team. Ask if the installers are employees or subcontractors. The company selling you the equipment should be willing to stand behind the people installing it.

📋 Are they licensed and insured?
This is a must. A properly licensed and insured contractor protects you, your home, and their employees. Don’t be afraid to ask for proof! Not all insurance is equal!!

🛠️ Do they stand behind their work?
Ask about labor warranties, service after the sale, and who you’ll call if there’s ever a problem.

⭐ Do they have a strong local reputation?
Read reviews, beware of companies with thousands of reviews as those are usually spoofed, ask for references, and look for a company with a history of taking care of its customers-not just making sales!

🤝 Will they be there when you need them?
At the end of the day, you’re not just buying air conditioning equipment-you’re choosing the company that will service and support that investment for years to come.

For the past few years, Dylan has been an invaluable part of our team, and it’s no surprise that he’s become a customer favorite. 🚨 This is what happens when you run your HVAC system without an air filter. 😳

These photos are from a system we recently serviced, and the buildup speaks for itself!

When an air filter is missing, dust, dirt, pet hair, insulation fibers, and other debris are pulled directly into your HVAC system. Over time, this can:

❌ Coat your evaporator coil and blower
❌ Restrict airflow
❌ Reduce cooling efficiency
❌ Increase energy bills
❌ Cause premature system failures
❌ Impact the air your family breathes

A simple air filter is one of the least expensive parts of your HVAC system, but it’s also one of the most important.

💡 Our recommendation:
✔ Always have a properly sized filter installed.
✔ Check it every month.
✔ Replace it every 1–3 months (or more often if you have pets, allergies, or ongoing construction).

Taking a few minutes to replace a filter can save you thousands of dollars in repairs and help your system last much longer.

☀️ A Day in the Life of an HVAC Technician in Texas Summer… 🥵

☀️ Wake up before the sun.
🚐 Chase down equipment that’s somehow “in stock”… until it isn’t.
🔧 Hunt for the one part that’s backordered everywhere.
🏃‍♂️ Drive across town because another supplier might have it.
🥵 Climb through 150° attics.
💦 Sweat through three shirts before lunch.
📞 Answer emergency calls.
🌅 Finally head home… and time to bill order and reorganize for the next day! 😅

It’s not glamorous, and it certainly isn’t easy!!!

Behind every cold house is a technician who’s spent the day solving problems most people never see.

We’re incredibly grateful for our Team. Their work ethic, dedication, and willingness to go the extra mile for our customers never goes unnoticed.
