Not another post about how much time you save when you outsource 🤮

Idk about you, but I get bored seeing the same tagline of how much time someone can save you when they purchase the service you’re selling.

I mean, isn’t it kind of a given at this rate? Outsourcing is a time saver, duh!

What I don’t see often is this šŸ‘‡

The feeling you have when you outsource to the right people for you and your business.

I recently started working with a client who has little to no self-esteem when it comes to her business. She is an absolute genius at what she does and how she helps people but has ZERO confidence in herself. She spends the majority of her time uplifting those around her but never takes the time to uplift herself.

I noticed this within 2 days of working with her and simply asked her why. After a great, long conversation she basically realized that she stopped taking care of herself a long time ago and focused all of her energy on her clients.

While I may have only been hired to set-up a new CRM system for her, I could see that she was just struggling in other areas. This is what happens when you have a human first approach in your business.

I could have easily just done the set-up for her and been on my way, but that’s not who I am and that’s not how I run my business. With the simple conversation we had, my client realized so many things and is now taking care of herself first.

All of this has led to her thriving even more in her business, growing at a rate she didn’t think was possible and creating a more sustainable business that not only fills her clients cups, but hers as well šŸ’œ

If you have ever outsourced something in your business, how did it make you feel? Comment below, I’d love to hear about it!

What does an OBM and a great bra have in common?

2 key things:

100% support for you and your business

AND

Lifts you up when you need it the most

Now, I could babble on for days about why having an online business manager is so beneficial to your business but I want to keep this short and sweet for today.

I want you to think about the most comfortable bra you have either had in the past or currently have in your closet. Think about how it makes you feel. The good ones are always comfortable, your go to favorite, supportive and lifts in all of the right places to make your shape flattering.

These are the same exact feelings you get when you hire an OBM that is right for you and your business!

I’ve lost count on how many times I wanted to quit or literally wanted to burn down my business. We all know that being an entrepreneur isn’t sunshine and rainbows all the time.

So, what keeps us going when things get tough? Our why!

Having a strong, foundational why will help you stay grounded when things get tough or feel impossible.

For me, I always remind myself that my 3 year old son isn’t going to be this little forever and this is my time to soak it all in. This is my season to create my business centered around him and be the fun and supportive mom that he needs.

So when things start to go sideways, I just look at his cute little face and continue on!

I want to know, what is your why for starting and being in your business? Comment below!

You were not put on this earth to only pay bills and die.

I remember sitting at my desk over 6 years ago and seeing a post that had this exact phrase on it. It was something that really resonated with me at the time and still does to this day.

When I think about all of the amazing women I want to serve with my OBM work, I tend to always reflect on the feeling that I want to provide them in addition to my services.

1. BALANCE
You didn’t start your business to have it be 90% work and 10% life. Most often we seek a better work/life balance when we set out on our entrepreneur journey. I provide balance to you by making sure your systems and processes are in place so you find that perfect balance for yourself and your business.

2. FREEDOM
It’s no secret that an OBM can save you time, but let’s also consider other types of freedom I can bring you. I can free you from stress within your business. Do you hate doing a certain task and keeping track of all of the moving components? Great news, I got you!

Another area of freedom that I love to help with is allowing you the space to grow within your business. While this can tie in with time and stress like I’ve mentioned, you are able to focus on areas in your business that you actually enjoy and spend more time in your zone of genius and continue to build your empire.

3. SUCCESS
There are two main feelings entrepreneurs have when it comes to outsourcing. They either have let go of control and take it in stride or they are terrified to let someone into their bubble. No matter how you feel about outsourcing, I am here to help you succeed. I want you to feel accomplished and amazing about the positive changes you have created in your business.

I actually would drive to Nebraska for my clients. I honestly would drive anywhere to help them if that’s what it took.

When I say I love my clients, I genuinely mean it. I literally would do anything for them and stand behind them 100%.

To me, it’s more than just doing the work for them. It’s creating a relationship and helping them step into their full potential that fills my cup.

Whether they hired me to organize the back end of their business or get them up and running online, I want to make sure they are feeling great about the things going on not only in their business, but in their life in general.

We often talk about boundaries and having business hours when you’re an entrepreneur and especially in the online space. While I’m all for it, my clients also know that if they need me I will be there for them no matter what time of day it is.

I care more about their well being than the paycheck. Call me crazy but I feel like when you provide a service to other business owners, you have to care about them in order to offer great support.

So tell me, would you drive to Nebraska for a client if they needed you to? Comment below!

You want every customer to go through the same journey with you.

From the moment they contact you all the way to when the job is complete, every customer needs to go through the same pipeline you have created within your business.

Why is this so important?

It creates consistency within your business and ensures that communication is always on point with your customers.

Think of it this way, customers are more likely to refer you and your services to their friends and family when they felt like they were taken care of from start to finish with their project and you were always in communication with them every step of the way.

The best news is, you don’t have to do this all manually and be glued to your phone even more than you probably currently are. There are several software programs that help automate some of these steps to help you.

Once you have some automation set-up in your business, you are freeing up your time and ultimately money spent trying to organize the chaos.

If you’re ready to introduce some automation in your business and implement a software that works for you, send me a DM!

This one is for all of the out there because I know I’m not alone!

We all have a lot on our plate. Not only do we have crazy toddlers wrecking our house all day, everyday. We also are wives, business owners, the cleaning lady, the chef and the list goes on!

One thing that can help bring some balance and sanity back into your day is making sure you have workflows and systems set-up in your business to take some tasks off your plate that can be automated or even outsourced!

If you’re ready to gain some time back in your day, send me a DM!

I was a people pleaser for 6 years 😱

It took me a really long time to realize that I literally said yes to everything and it was draining!

Here’s the deal.

Saying no to people actually helps build confidence. Whether it’s in your business or personal life, there are all kinds of things we don’t want to do and it’s ok to say no. When you say no, you’re leaving the door open for better opportunities for yourself šŸ™Œ

5 generations this farm has been in my family. This place makes me take a step back and breathe.

I recently spent 2 weeks here with my son and it was one of the best vacations I’ve been on. No internet and I was lucky to send and receive a single text message every hour.

I learned/discovered some important pieces in my business that I want to share with you.

1. Take a break. Your business won’t burn to the ground if you step away for a few days.

2. Simple is always best. I’ve simplified my business a lot over the past few months and it’s opened more doors for me that I didn’t even know existed.

3. Don’t settle! Life is too short for all of that!

4. Do things that light you up inside. People can see when you’re passionate about something and when you’re not.

Tell me, do you have these types of realizations in your business when you go on vacation or is it just me?!

The number one goal that I have for all of my clients is this.

Creating a repeatable process for every client they have.

No matter if you have a $500 job or a $20k one, every client needs to go through the same workflow/pipeline.

Here are 4 main reasons why:
1. It keeps YOU organized
2. Increases consumer confidence
3. Builds trust
4. More job referrals come from it

If you don’t have a CRM system or currently frustrated with the one you have, send me a DM!

Let’s get your business running in a more consistent and sustainable way šŸ»

Focusing on what matters to you in your business is key. As entrepreneurs, we wear several hats in our business and it can become overwhelming at times.

When someone tells me that they don’t want systems or processes in their business and ā€œit runs just fine without them.ā€ I know they are faced with fear of change.

Let me tell you this, it doesn’t have to be this way!

Systems are meant to help you in your business, not hurt it or change it. Think of it like an extension of your tool belt.

I work with a lot of people that don’t have a system in their business when we first start. We take baby steps at first and by the end they have one thing in common: they are grateful to have implemented a system so they can get back to what makes them happy in their business šŸ™Œ

If you’re ready to add more value in your business and get back to doing the things you love, send me a DM!

I worked for a house painting company for 6 years before I started my company. When I first started working there, the shop was located in a strip mall and there was a construction company next door to us. The secretary for the company next to me was one of the nicest ladies you could ever meet. She was in her 60’s, smoked ci******es at her desk all day and even had a shop cat. She worked for this particular company the majority of her life, she was a loyal employee. Then one day, the owner of the company decided it was time to close his doors and here was 60 year old Dorrie without a job.

I’ll never forget the day they were packing up the last of their things in the space next door. I watched Dorrie from my desk load up a few boxes in her truck with the saddest look on her face. I remember telling myself, ā€œthere is no way I want to end up like her.ā€

It’s not that I didn’t see her as a successful person, but rather a person that dedicated so much time to this company and literally had the same job for over 30 years. I’m sure she got raises accordingly and they treated her well, but she never advanced.

One day I asked Dorrie if she was happy with her job. She told me that she liked her boss and it was a very comfortable work environment for her. To me, I didn’t see that as being enough. I was so afraid I was going down the same path as Dorrie so I started working more hours at my job and doing all kinds of random extra things.

Yes, I literally thought doing all of those things would advance my career and I wouldn’t end up like Dorrie. What it actually led to was burn out over time and eventually just pure anger. I knew my worth in the company and it wasn’t reciprocated. So what did I do? I tried even harder and it ended up just not working out in the end.

I knew my worth the entire time, but I NEVER honored my worth. If I would have honored myself and my worth, I would have left that job a long time ago. I would have started telling people no a lot sooner! See, it’s ok to tell people no, it’s ok to not take a job, it’s ok to walk away. The sooner you start to honor yourself and your worth, the universe will reward you for it!
