Some weeks donโ€™t just test your business.

They reveal your heart. This week did that for me.

In this episode of ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—˜๐˜€๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฝ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜‚๐—ฟ ๐—ฃ๐—ผ๐—ฑ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜, Iโ€™m opening up about a moment that surfaced something I thought I had already healed and it led me to a question many high-achieving founders quietly carry:

Why do so many leaders still feel restlessโ€ฆ even when things appear to be working?

Not failing.
Not stuck.
Just unsettled.

This conversation is not about another strategy, system, or growth hack. Itโ€™s about the quiet place where identity, success, purpose, and surrender meet.

Sometimes what looks like success on the outside tells a very different story on the inside.

And sometimes the difficult weeks reveal what the productive weeks helped us avoid.

If you are a Christian founder, CEO, or startup leader navigating the tension between growth, identity, and purpose, this episode may open a conversation you did not know your soul needed.

Tune in to this weekโ€™s episode of ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—˜๐˜€๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฝ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜‚๐—ฟ in my bio or comments below. ๐Ÿ‘‡

Most people think theyโ€™re too late. Caleb was 85.

He had spent 45 years waiting for a promise God already gave him.

Not because he lacked faith.

But because others refused to believe God.

When his moment came, he didnโ€™t ask for something easier.

He asked for the mountain.

In Joshua 14:11, Caleb said:

Forty-five years had passed.

The wilderness happened.
The delay happened.
The disappointment happened.

Yet Caleb still had strength.

That is supernatural preservation.

God preserved his strength because God preserved his assignment.

And this matters for business owners.

Some of you are measuring your future by what you think you lost:

โ€ข The failed business
The missed opportunity
The wrong season
The years life pulled you off course

But Calebโ€™s story proves this:

Your age does not disqualify you.
Your delay does not disqualify you.

The real qualifier was never Calebโ€™s age.

It was his allegiance.

Joshua 14:8 says:

Wholly.

Not perfectly.

Wholly.

Undivided.
Faithful.
Still following when others stopped believing.

Your wasted time does not disqualify you.

A divided heart does.

So stop asking:

โ€œAm I too late?โ€

Ask:

โ€œLord, what have You preserved me for?โ€

The mountain is still there.
The business is still there.
The assignment is still there.

Ask for it.

I have noticed something interesting.

The founder making $500K feels constrained.
The founder making $5K feels constrained.

Different numbers.

Same feeling.

One feels too small for the vision God has placed inside them.

The other feels trapped by the limitations surrounding them.

Both are experiencing the same thing:

Expansion.

Because before God expands your resources, He expands your capacity.

Before He increases your influence, He increases your stewardship.

Before He enlarges your territory, He enlarges your identity.

Most people interpret pressure as a sign that something is wrong. But...

What if the pressure is evidence that something is growing?

A seed experiences pressure before it breaks open.
A muscle experiences resistance before it becomes stronger.
A leader experiences stretching before they can carry greater responsibility.

The question is not whether God is stretching you.

The question is whether you are resisting the stretch.

Because what feels like restriction today may actually be preparation.

What feels uncomfortable may be creating the very capacity you've been praying for.

The pressure is not punishment.
It is preparation.

The tension is not rejection.
It is expansion.

So instead of asking, "God, when will this season end?"

Ask:

"What are You building in me that I could not learn any other way?"

Identify one area where God is stretching you. Then stop fighting it.

๐—Ÿ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐—ถ๐—ป.

The breakthrough may not be on the other side of the pressure.

It may be hidden within it.

Most business content teaches you how to scale.

๐Ÿ‘ฅFollow to learn how to become the person who can sustain the scale.

I used to think influence was a door God opened. Now I know it is often a weight He measures.

Because sometimes the question is not:

โ€œCan you handle being seen?โ€

Sometimes the question is:

โ€œCan you stay submitted when being seen starts changing you?โ€

That is where the real test begins.

Not on the stage.
Not in the launch.
Not when people are clapping.

But in the quiet moments where obedience has no audience.

When the opportunity looks good, but your spirit feels checked.
When the money is possible, but peace is missing.
When people are praising what God is pruning.
When the numbers are growing, but your motives are being exposed.

Success can hide cracks.
Struggle can reveal them.

And God uses both to show us what our soul is actually ready to carry.

He is not just looking at your gift.

He is looking at your governance.

Can you hear Him over applause?
Can you obey without being understood?
Can you steward small rooms with the same honor as large ones?
Can you stay tender under pressure?
Can you be trusted with influence before influence trusts you?

Because influence without governance becomes dangerous.

Visibility without obedience becomes performance.

Acceleration without maturity becomes pressure your soul cannot carry well.

So before you ask God for more, ask Him this:

"๐™๐™–๐™ฉ๐™๐™š๐™ง, ๐™ฌ๐™๐™–๐™ฉ ๐™–๐™ง๐™š ๐™”๐™ค๐™ช ๐™ฅ๐™ง๐™ค๐™ซ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™ž๐™ฃ ๐™ข๐™š ๐™ง๐™ž๐™œ๐™๐™ฉ ๐™ฃ๐™ค๐™ฌ?โ€

Then obey there. Because Kingdom influence is not handed to the gifted.

It is entrusted to the governed.

The greatest thing missing in business today isn't strategy. It's fatherhood.

Most people know how to scale. Far fewer know how to nurture, correct, develop, and steward people well.

I donโ€™t just teach people how to grow businesses. I teach founders how to build with the Fatherโ€™s heart.

Because growth without the Fatherโ€™s heart becomes performance.

Revenue without tenderness becomes control.

Leadership without nurture becomes pressure.

And success without love still leaves people orphaned.

Paul said in 1 Corinthians 4:15, โ€œYou may have countless guides in Christ, but you do not have many fathers.โ€

That verse carries weight.

Because information is not formation.

A father does more than instruct.

A father nurtures.
Trains.
Corrects.
Covers.
Disciplines.
Believes.

A father does not quit because the process gets messy.

A father is committed to maturity, not just momentum.

That is what Kingdom business needs.

Not more noise.
Not more formulas.
Not more scaling without soul.

We need leaders who can tell the truth without crushing people.

Correct without rejecting.

Build capacity without demanding performance.

Steward people, purpose, pressure, and power with love.

Yes, I teach positioning.

Sales systems.

Governance.

Revenue architecture.

But the deeper work is this:

Founders must stop building from abandonment.

CEOs must stop leading from fear.

Visionaries must stop calling pressure responsibility.

God does not just want your business to grow.

He wants your heart mature enough to carry the growth.

That is the Fatherโ€™s heart.

Tender enough to nurture.

Strong enough to discipline.

Patient enough to train.

Committed enough not to quit.

Loving enough to call you higher.

Follow for Christ-centered business, stewardship, and leadership rooted in the Fatherโ€™s heart.

I used to think peace was the reward.

The thing you get after the breakthrough.
After the launch.
After the money arrives.
After the pressure finally lifts.

I was wrong.

Peace isn't the reward.

Peace is the prerequisite.

Because you can be wildly successful and still be living in internal chaos.

Making money.
Growing fast.
Winning publicly.

While quietly losing access to your own soul.

And you can be praying for answers while your mind is so crowded with fear, pressure, opinions, and urgency that you can't recognize God's voice when He speaks.

That's the deception.

Most people think they need more strategy.

What they actually need is less noise.

Peace isn't passive.

Peace isn't weakness.

Peace is authority.

It's the ability to remain anchored when everything around you is demanding a reaction.

It's the environment where wisdom becomes clear.

Where discernment sharpens.

Where obedience becomes obvious.

Isaiah 26:3 says,

"You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on You."

Notice what comes first.

Not provision.
Not answers.
Not success.

Peace.

Because God doesn't lead through panic.

He leads through presence.

And without peace, you'll build the right thing at the wrong time.

Or the wrong thing with the right intentions.

Both are expensive.

So before you ask God for another answer, ask yourself:

What is stealing my peace?

A relationship?

A notification?

A habit of overthinking?

A fear I've mistaken for wisdom?

Remove one source of internal noise today.

Just one.

And watch how quickly clarity returns.

Because sometimes God's voice isn't absent.

The noise is just louder.

What do you do when the people who hurt you are the same people God calls you to love?

In this episode of Podcast, we step into one of the most uncomfortable tensions Christian leaders face in the marketplace.

Every entrepreneur eventually encounters it... the betrayal, the opposition, the quiet wounds that form when trust is broken in places where you were trying to build something meaningful.

Moments like these donโ€™t just test your strategy or your leadership skills. They reveal something deeper about the heart behind how you lead.

This conversation opens a deeper question about justice, forgiveness, and the kind of maturity Kingdom leadership quietly requires. Because the real test of leadership isnโ€™t just what you build when things are going well, itโ€™s who you become when people donโ€™t treat you fairly.

If you're a Christian founder, CEO, or entrepreneur navigating the complexity of leading people while guarding your heart, this episode invites you into a conversation many leaders avoidโ€ฆ but every Kingdom builder eventually has to face.

The Estherpreneur Podcast is for CEOs, founders, and faith-driven entrepreneurs who are growing, but something feels misaligned. Whether it's your structure, your clarity, or your capacity, this show helps you identify what's off and what to focus on next.
