TCA's Stacey Brigham had a fantastic opportunity to participate in the FRS Broadband 101 educational event last week where she gave a presentation to NTCA employees in the morning and then to Congressional Staff in the afternoon about the basics of broadband networks, the challenges of deploying broadband in rural areas and the various funds that exist to help private companies make the business case to serve in low population density, high cost areas. A nearby service provider, Shentel, also provided a presentation and gave a fiber splicing demonstration and "show and tell" of fiber optic network equipment. Thank you to NTCA and FRS for giving her an opportunity to share her knowledge!
