Wow ---something i can actually talk about with a little bit of knowledge....
I have been a Consultant to the Restaurant Industry for over 24 years and was in Foodservice Distribution for over 22 years prior to that ... it means i am old! and yes a blind squirrel can sometimes finds a nut.
Lets talk Eggs.... YES EGGS.....(from Foodservice) here are the facts behind the data...( Eggs sat at about $2.25 to $2.50 a dz range from last March 2024 , over $2.50 in August 24, back Down in Sept 24 to $2,25 dz and in Nov started a steep three month climb up to to Jan 25 at almost $3.80 a dz) and In Feb dropped to its lowest point in 12 months to $2.00 a dz..... Question is.... why is Retail at almost $7 a dz???? Look up how many Grocery store chains are left in the USA today.... Not many.. Kroeger owns most.... are these golden chickens that retail uses for its egg production???? (Yes the bird flu happened, chickens were killed) but would that not effect the same chickens that are producing eggs being sold in Foodservice...??? I BELIEVE SO.......I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer but I think someone's got some splanin to do!!!!!!!
