Active Violence Immediate Response Training (AVIRT) is designed for one purpose: preparing people to respond when seconds matter most. This is not just “active shooter awareness.” AVIRT goes further, combining situational awareness, real-time decision-making, and life-saving medical response into one program. Participants learn how to recognize warning signs before situations escalate, how to make critical decisions under pressure, and how to respond using proven tactics like escape, evade, or defend. Just as importantly, the training includes hands-on instruction in emergency bleeding control, because in many cases, survival depends on what happens before first responders arrive. The goal is simple: turn bystanders into immediate responders. With a blended format of online preparation and in-person, scenario-based training, AVIRT equips individuals and teams with the confidence and skills to act, not hesitate, in a life-threatening situation.
Preparedness is not about fear. It’s about capability.
