WIND THERAPY | SEPTEMBER 25–28
Our final scheduled Wind Therapy Ride of 2026.
Wind Therapy isn’t a therapy session. There’s no classroom, no circle of chairs, and no pressure to share anything you don’t want to.
It’s pretty simple: get on two wheels, get out of town, see some incredible places, eat some good food, camp under the Colorado sky, and spend a few days riding with good people.
We keep these rides small at six riders or less, and they are NOT about performance or getting from Point A to Point B as quickly as possible. Whether you’ve been riding for one week or 40 years, the goal is the same: ride your own ride, enjoy the scenery, build some camaraderie, and come home with a few more miles and stories under your belt.
THE RIDE
📍 Friday, September 25
We’ll meet up that evening in Colorado Springs. If we have a sponsored rider joining us on one of our Triumph Scrambler 400s, we’ll spend about 30 minutes going over the motorcycle, Viking Bags luggage and camping gear. Then we’ll head out together and grab a bite at a local business.
☕ Saturday | Day One
Breakfast and caffeine at Dynamo Coffee Roasting, then we’re headed south.
Day One is pavement from Colorado Springs to La Veta, with stops at Skyline Drive and the Royal Gorge Bridge along the way. We’ll camp that night at La Veta Pines RV Park.
Our optional side quest takes us through Cuchara and over Cordova Pass, with roughly half of that loop on graded dirt roads.
🏕️ Sunday | Day Two
We’ll pick up sections of the TransAmerica Trail and work our way toward Nathrop and Chalk Creek Campground and RV Park, stopping at Bishop Castle along the way.
Once camp is set, there’s another side quest up to the old mining town of St. Elmo and back.
⛰️ Monday | Day Three
We’ll start by heading up a section of the old Midland Railroad grade, backtrack, and then spend much of the day connecting dirt and back roads toward Divide.
From there we’ll drop down US-24, ride through Garden of the Gods, and finish where we started at Dynamo Coffee in the early to mid-afternoon.
Throughout the weekend, we’ll share a little information around breakfast, lunch and dinner about mental wellness, resources and why getting out on two wheels can be such a great reset. But the focus of the weekend is always the ride.
WANT TO JOIN US?
You don’t have to commit to the entire weekend.
If you’re bringing your own motorcycle, join us for whatever works with your schedule. Ride all three days. Meet us for one day. Come along for two days. Join us for half a day and peel off when you need to.
If you can make it work, you’re welcome to ride with us.
For riders bringing their own motorcycles, Moto Recovery will cover your fuel while riding with the group and your campsite fees at our scheduled group campgrounds.
If you choose to stay somewhere other than the group campsite, that lodging is on you. Riders are also responsible for their own meals, park or attraction entry fees, and any other personal or travel expenses.
We also have ONE sponsored rider position remaining on a Triumph Scrambler 400.
The sponsored bike is equipped with Viking luggage, and we provide the tent, sleeping bag and air mattress. The Scrambler 400 is exactly the kind of motorcycle we want for Wind Therapy: approachable enough for a newer rider, but still an absolute blast for someone who has been riding for decades.
Sponsored Rider applications are available on our website under:

This is our last scheduled Wind Therapy Ride of the 2026 season.
We’ll be back out in April 2027 for a dry run of next year’s route, with regular Wind Therapy rides returning in May 2027.
Going into next season, we plan to keep two of our Triumph Scrambler 400s while beginning to build out the Wind Therapy fleet with Kawasaki KLX300s. Lightweight, approachable motorcycles that let us spend less time worrying about the machine and more time enjoying where it can take us.
Six riders or less. No racing. No pressure. No experience contest.
Just motorcycles, Colorado back roads, campfires, caffeine, a few questionable side quests and a little Wind Therapy.
🏍️ Stronger With Every Mile.
