Kasey visited Milwaukee, WI last week to present a comprehensive Nonprofit 201 presentation for BizStarts in a historic, local building.

Meeting with professionals from the local area, Kasey guided them through a how-to presentation covering the most important factors nonprofits are faced with. From mission statements to grant writing, participants left with a greater understanding of the most fundamental tasks in nonprofit work and how to move forward with intention.

BizStarts brings entrepreneurs together from all backgrounds, ethnicities and beliefs to create a collaborative learning environment that embodies positivity, inspires confidence and develops people’s capacity to achieve personal success and business growth.

Despite a grant being a written, in-depth description of your organization, sometimes it can feel a little, impersonal 😔

Such fun at the Shepard McCaskill Foundation's sponsored keynote from this month. We were ecstatic to meet with former U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill and our keynote speaker, Merideth Rose here in Columbia, MO at the The State Historical Society of Missouri.

Participants learned about building and cultivating a culture where people can thrive. Merideth touched on different topics to challenge the way we think about well-being and tackling challenges as a group rather than as an individual.
