When you do business with someone—whether as a partner, client, or service provider—what are your must-haves?

Do you look for:
🔹 Integrity & honesty – Can you trust them?
🔹 Clear purpose – Do they have a vision behind their work?
🔹 Sincerity – Are they genuinely invested in what they do?
🔹 Personal connection – Do they understand your needs beyond the transaction?

For me, these are key. Business is built on relationships, and relationships thrive on trust.

In business, team members are one of the keys to success. Individuals may be able to succeed, but teams can fly. Excitement and encouragement for the success of any individual team member by the rest of the team are intricate to the entire team’s success.

When I first began my journey as a business owner, I struggled alone but always knew having a team would improve my level of success.

Affording a team isn’t always the key—being strategic about how you acquire one is. There are ways to build a team in business, even with little funds to pay one.

Take a lesson from the Philadelphia Eagles: team member Barkley could have boosted his own stats, but instead, he allowed Shipley to score a touchdown and secure a championship win.

That’s teamwork—thinking of the whole, not just the individual.
