Recruiting for Solar Construction Manager.
Job Summary:
A Solar Construction Manager for projects up to 1MW of Roof Top Solar, who is responsible for overseeing the planning, construction, and commissioning of solar power projects. This includes managing the project budget and schedule, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes, and ensuring that the final product meets the project specifications and performance expectations. The construction manager will also work closely with the project development team and clients to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. Other duties may include:
Developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets
Coordinating with the project development team, vendors, and subcontractors
Managing and directing on-site construction activities
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes
Reviewing and approving subcontractor and vendor invoices
Ensuring that project is completed on time and within budget
Managing and training site staff
Communicating with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities
Providing project status reports.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years in commercial solar design and engineering
Minimum 2 years of direct experience at a solar EPC or installation foreman:
BS in Engineering or relevant experience
