🕊️ Honoring the Life and Legacy of Rev. Jesse Louis Jackson, Sr. 🕊️

We reflect on the extraordinary life and legacy of Rev. Jesse Louis Jackson, Sr. — a son of South Carolina, a servant of faith, and a tireless voice for justice.

For decades, Rev. Jackson stood at the intersection of faith, civil rights, and social justice, advocating for equality, opportunity, and dignity for all people. His leadership helped shape national conversations around voting rights, economic justice, and human dignity.

Through organizations like the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, and through his partnership with the civil rights movement, Rev. Jackson dedicated his life to uplifting communities and challenging systems that denied equality.

At Premier Care Services, we understand the importance of honoring a life that has impacted generations. Today we pause to remember a leader whose voice carried hope, conviction, and courage.

His legacy reminds us that service to others is one of the greatest callings.

📖 Micah 6:8
“What doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and the countless lives touched by his ministry and advocacy.

🕊️ Rest well, Rev. Jackson. Your legacy lives on.

The Richland County Coroner’s Office hosted its first Ambassador session last Friday.

The Ambassador program allows members of the community to work alongside Madam Coroner Naida Rutherford and Deputy Coroner Jeff Black and learn more about what the Richland County Coroner’s Office does in its daily operations from handling death scene investigations to honoring the forgotten in its “Rest in Dignity” Burial Service.

The program has two more “lunch and learn” sessions in March and April before the Ambassadors graduate from the program. If you feel led, please consider sponsoring the March or April meals to contribute to this important learning opportunity. We’re excited to see what the Ambassadors learn this semester and are thankful for everything the Richland County Coroner’s Office does for our community.

🇺🇸 Honoring the Fallen 🇺🇸

Today we pause to remember and honor the lives of the brave service members who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

The Pentagon has identified four of the six U.S. Army Reserve soldiers killed in a recent drone strike in Kuwait during the ongoing conflict in the Middle East:

• Capt. Cody A. Khork, 35
• Sgt. 1st Class Noah L. Tietjens, 42
• Sgt. 1st Class Nicole M. Amor, 39
• Sgt. Declan J. Coady, 20

These soldiers served with dedication and courage as part of the Army Reserve’s 103rd Sustainment Command and were supporting military operations abroad when their lives were taken in the attack.

At Premier Care Services, we understand the sacred responsibility of caring for families in moments of loss. Today we extend our deepest condolences to the families, friends, and fellow service members mourning these heroes.

Their service, sacrifice, and commitment to protecting our nation will never be forgotten.

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” — John 15:13

🇺🇸 Please join us in keeping these families in your thoughts and prayers.

Today, the world has lost a warrior for justice, but his legacy lives on in every movement that continues to fight for equality, in every community that refuses to be silenced, and in every heart that believes “I am somebody.”

Rest in power, Rev. Jackson. Thank you for showing us that courage, commitment, and compassion can change the world. 🙏🏽✨
