📣Employees don't leave organizations, they leave leadership
📣360 Feedback would be beneficial to all leaders
📣All those who are in leadership positions, please go read the values of the company or organization you work for and see if you are aligned with the values as you are leading your team next week.
📣Being a manager and being a leader is NOT the same

I believe that every team should make it mandatory to have a come to Jesus meeting too many unanswered questions, too many misconceptions and preconceived notions about each other, too much hostility and lack of awareness of how behaviors within your team affect the growth of your team.

I have been a part of so many teams over my 20+ years as a professional that I have been a part of some of the best teams and some of the worst. Sometimes it was the subordinates that made things worse, but for the most part it was management that contributed to a lot of the issues which created The Closed Door Syndrom. I actually thought I made that up...my take on it yes, I did actually, but it means something different in another context. The Closed Door Syndrom is: I'm here, in my office, minimal communication, minimal participation, head down, do what I'm told or asked ( depending on who it is) eat lunch and go home. No team leader, manager, supervisor or director should see this and think that this is okay.

Team members should feel a sense of pride, love, respect, support and care from their leaders.
Check your teams temperature sometimes, and do the necessary work to promote change.

There is so much anxiety, frustration, anger, doubt, fear that goes on from 9 to 5 and no one cares even to say, " Hey, you are my team, I'm here to listen with no judgement" Let it out!
