I am incredibly proud to announce that I have officially graduated from the Richland County Coroner’s Office Ambassador Program! 🎓

This experience was truly eye-opening. I walked away with a profound respect for how this office operates—they go above and beyond to get the job done while deeply caring for their staff. Seeing the dedication and detail they put into providing closure for families and victims was nothing short of amazing.

A huge thank you to Coroner Naida Rutherford . She is a brilliant leader and truly the best in the business. I am honored to have been part of this cohort! Parents, this is the reality of what grooming looks like in our backyard. This video shows the moment a missing 16-year-old girl was found in Florida with a 37-year-old man who lured her away from her home via social media. He lied to police, calling her his “cousin,” while she was coached to give a fake name.

We cannot let this happen in our community. We must equip our girls with the tools to recognize these predators before it’s too late.

💜💚 Thank you to everyone who showed up and supported the Rally Against Human Trafficking this weekend.

Each year, this event creates a safe space where survivors feel empowered to share their stories — many for the first time. Hearing these experiences is heartbreaking, but it reminds me why advocacy, education, and community awareness are so important. One brave survivor’s story will be shared soon to help continue spreading awareness and prevention.

Our communities play a critical role in protecting women and girls. Let’s continue to stand together, speak up, and stay informed. We still have important work ahead of us. 💜💚

Knowledge Is Power

Let’s be clear real quick.
A lot of people are talking about running up Becoming on Netflix to boycott Melania’s documentary.
And though we absolutely love supporting Michelle Obama.

Here's something you should know.
The part nobody’s saying outloud:
The Head Idiot in Charge, Sweet Potato Stalin, holds up to $2 million in bonds tied to Netflix and Warner Bros. Discovery since Dec. 2025.

So every extra stream?
I know it would feel good to "run these numbers up" but it would still be putting money in pockets connected to him.

So if your goal is protest, just know this particular move doesn’t actually affect his bottom line adversely. Like, at all.

Let’s be smarter with our energy.
Here’s what actually helps:
• Support Black-owned businesses
• Donate to grassroots orgs doing real work
• Subscribe to Black media and creators directly
• Call your reps. Show up locally. Vote in every election.
• Protect your peace and stop feeding platforms tied to people who hate us

That’s how we move.
That’s how we resist.
That’s how we stop playing ourselves.

Being in the right place at the wrong time can have serious consequences. Having an open conversation now can help your child stay safe, aware, and informed.

We’re talking about DMs, snap streaks, texts, and especially those “private” group chats. Don’t think for one second these threats only live on social media apps—kids are being targeted where parents AREN’T LOOKING!

Predators THRIVE on your silence. Scams, sextortion, bullying, and fake AI content—that’s just THIS YEAR’S list!! Kids get manipulated and embarrassed, and too many are suffering in silence. We’ve lost young lives because they felt they couldn’t come to their families. I PROMISE YOU: Safety comes BEFORE privacy—no negotiation!

Check their phones. UPDATE those settings. Turn on app monitoring.

LOOK at their group chats! Watch for sudden sadness, withdrawal, or nerves—these are RED FLAGS. Talk about it. No shame, no secrets, JUST PROTECTION.
