We understand there are a lot of moving options now days. 📦

Many of these moving companies are less of a cost than Marigold Movers. 💰

Here is the checklist that may help. Save yourself time, money and possibly a peace of mind. 🧠

(1) Check credentials.
Make sure moving companies that you are working with are legitimate. Google, yelp, BBB, etc.. Read reviews. 👁️ 👁️

2) Check whether the moving company you choose is using employees or contractors. 🏋️‍♀️

3) Note: Contractors (1099 employees) are able to sue you directly for any injury(s) on your property. 🤕 -

4) If you are choosing a Moving company that has contractors make sure you have
MOVING INSURANCE
through your homeowners/renters insurance. ✅

5) Do not make a deposit without a contract.
We have seen moving companies, taking deposits, and not showing up. 📝

6) Request to have an in person estimate. Ask questions. 🗣️

7) Hire a local company. 🕺
