🌿🛶 **Paddle, explore, and discover with us on Saturday, October 24!**

Start the morning with a **5.5-mile kayak trip** from the Columbia Boat Docks to the Charles Allen Ouachita River Nature Preserve. Kayakers launch at **7 a.m.**, and all kayakers are welcome!

At the preserve, join **ULM’s Annual 2026 BioBlitz**. ULM biology students and faculty will lead hikes as we look for birds, plants, insects, reptiles, amphibians, and more. The bird hike begins at **8 a.m.**, with additional guided nature hikes from **1–3 p.m.** Live exhibits and opportunities to explore continue throughout the day.

A food truck will be at the preserve, too! Come for the kayak trip, the BioBlitz, or both. We hope to see you there! 🌳
