🔔🎉One year later, the excitement of joining the DAX is still very much alive.

On September 22, it became official: GEA joined Germany's leading stock market index.

For us, this was truly a milestone. Even more importantly, it was a recognition of the commitment, dedication, and energy our more than 18,000 colleagues around the world had invested in our transformation journey since 2019.

That's why we celebrated together: 100 colleagues from across Europe traveled to Frankfurt to watch our CEO, Stefan Klebert, ring the bell at the stock exchange.

Water scarcity is no longer just a southern European problem. 💧

In 2023, 28% of EU territory and 32% of the population experienced water scarcity during at least one quarter of the year. And for industry, the challenge goes beyond simply using less water.

Where can water efficiency make the biggest difference – and what does it take to make it work?

🥤 Ever mixed baking soda with vinegar and watched it fizz? 🌋

Now imagine preventing that reaction in a beverage factory.

Today's functional drinks can contain probiotics, proteins, electrolytes, vitamins, botanical extracts and other highly sensitive ingredients. Getting all that into a bottle isn't as simple as mixing them together.

In one customer project, GEA engineers had to keep bicarbonate separate from concentrated acids. If they came into contact too early, they would have triggered an unwanted CO₂ reaction.

Instead of changing the recipe, the team changed the process.

It's one example of the engineering challenges behind today's functional beverages and how producers bring new drink concepts to market.

As GEA expert Lucas Hopgood says: "You need to treat each ingredient like a little pet." 🐶

Today we announced a new share buyback program of up to EUR 500 million, running through the end of 2027. That amounts to roughly 5 percent of the current market capitalization of GEA. It reflects our financial strength and confidence in GEA’s profitable growth prospects.

What makes the program special: It is structured to guarantee that we buy our shares below the average market price over its term. That creates measurable value, and we share part of it: EUR 250,000 goes to the Deutsche Universitätsstiftung, a leading non-profit organization promoting academic excellence in Germany. The donation will support talented STEM students, funding mentoring programs, networking opportunities, and hands-on international experience.

The Executive Board of GEA resolved today to launch a new share buyback program. Utilizing the authorization granted by the Annual General Meeting on April 30, 2025, the Company will acquire its own shares with a total value of up to EUR 500 million between August 2026 and the end of 2027.

🍺 That clear, golden pour. It doesn't happen by itself.

B**r clarification is one of those process steps nobody outside a brewery ever thinks about – yet every b**r drinker sees the result in the glass.

At Brauerei C. & A. VELTINS, a German brewery with more than 200 years of tradition, the two machines doing this job had reached the end of their lifecycle. The brewery replaced them with new GEA separators – without pausing production. The new units use less energy at lower speed, their cooling water is fully recovered and reused, and better pre-clarification means the downstream filters run longer with less filter aid.

And because Veltins plans in decades, not quarters: spare parts for the new machines are guaranteed for 25 years.

We showcased our milking rotaries, robot systems and cow know how at the 2026 European Dairy Farmers Congress held this year in Chester, U.K. 🤖🐄 And we left with the certainty that our most engaging conversations weren't about technology. 🤔

They were about people. 👩🏼‍🌾

Even on highly automated dairy farms, success still comes down to helping farmers make better decisions, supporting good routines and creating healthier herds.

Whether it was a 1,000-cow rotary parlor or a robotic milking operation, the farms that stood out weren't chasing technology for technology's sake. They were focused on solving practical challenges.

That's a lesson worth remembering as the dairy industry continues to evolve.
