Co.), is a research and consulting firm based in the US South that works at the intersection of Art, Culture and Government. In 2018, RAC Research and Consulting conducted a study of Creatives (artists) in the US South; identifying their motivations for making art or “arting”. The resulting study, “Why Do You Art?” serves as an academic approach to positioning the Creative as a community resource and to exploring solutions that provide for the unmet needs identified by Creatives. Subsequent work included pro-bono consulting services for local artists under the moniker: “artWORKing Wednesdays”. Organizational research focuses include: art, activism, perceptions of government, culture, political and financial impact, underrepresented groups and community.
