Earlier this month, our Operations Coordinator, Vincent Davis, attended the Midlands Homecare Provider Connect launch at Vino Sabor W**e Bar here in Columbia.

It was a great evening of connecting with fellow home care providers, case managers, and other professionals who serve individuals and families throughout our community.

A special thank you to Jaylen Jones of 1-on-1 Care Services for bringing the event together and creating a space where providers could connect, share ideas, and discuss ways to support one another and strengthen home care in our community.

Vincent also had the opportunity to connect with A’kira Robinson and members of the VC Charles Home Care team, along with case managers we work alongside in serving our clients.

We’re grateful for the conversations and connections made that evening and look forward to continuing to build relationships throughout the Midlands.

And we have to give Vino Sabor some credit too—the space was beautiful and provided a great atmosphere for conversation and connection. 🤝

South Carolina’s budget is still moving, and now is the time to speak up for disability services.

The Governor proposed $47.3 million for Home- and Community-Based Services, but the House reduced that amount to $20 million. These services help people with disabilities and older adults get support in their homes and communities.

The budget is now in the Senate, so there is still time to act.

Please contact your South Carolina legislators today and ask them to support strong HCBS funding.
