In today's edition of things you will pack that your kids won't use…… In all seriousness, my oldest daughter went to school in the south where hurricane season was real. But even here in the midwest, we can face bouts of serious rain. Pack an extra large Ziploc bag in the bottom of their backpack. If they get caught walking home in the rain, they can put their laptop in the Ziploc bag inside their backpack and hopefully avoid damage to their technology. 👍

Friends....please read and follow The Mirth Project. I have personal experience with this organization and they are changing young lives!

I love graduation season don't you?

I love the tradition, the sound of Pomp and Circumstance and the graduation parties. Our graduates work so hard and deserve to be celebrated.

But, the teens in The Mirth Project won't be given fancy celebrations and multiple $20.24 checks. They won't be able to go to whatever store they want to outfit their dorm rooms and paying for books might require their parent not to pay another bill.

If you would like to help us provide what our Mirth graduates need to succeed in college, join us in our private group, The Mirth Project at Graduation. The wishlist goes up at 7:30pm on May 16th.
