Of all the 15 U.S. states partly crossed by the path of totality on Monday, April 8, Ohio has been waiting the longest for the moon’s shadow to visit. Its first total solar eclipse since June 16, 1806, and the last until September 14, 2099, between 125,000 and over 500,000 visitors are expected to travel to the “Buckeye State” to witness totality on April 8, according to GreatAmericanEclipse.com.

One of the things I love about this industry is watching event spaces transform. We are typically first in, last out. We get to show up to a blank canvas, watch the event literally grow out of the ground, and then disappear as if it never happened. It takes a lot of hard working people, in many different disciplines, working together to make it happen.

I’d love to make a time lapse video of an event sometime showing - Load In, Set Up, The Actual Event, Tear Down and Load Out. It really is fascinating to watch it unfold.

The transformation for last nights event was one for the books. Thank you to The New Albany Community Foundation for allowing us to be part of such a Remarkable Evening! Thank you to New Albany Country Club for the amazing Food and Service!

We just finished Taco Fest in Columbus at Goodale Park! It’s a cool event, and one among many we are proud to be able to do with this group. They put so many great, and iconic events on in Central Ohio and do a fantastic job.

Next up, we’ll be working with them for the Columbus, OH HighBall Halloween Event at the end of this month.

It was a long and busy week, but our amazing P&D Team dug deep and got another event ready to go.

We value our partnerships, and this one is one that goes back almost 2 decades. The Johnstown Community Sportsmen’s Club has trusted us with this event over the years and we couldn’t be more grateful to work with such a great organization. This year is the 79th annual Swapper’s Day and we’ll be there to make sure it goes off without a hitch!
