When we started Crafted Culture Brewing, the goal was simple: kick down the doors, create space, and make craft beer a place where we ALL belong. Along the way, this community became more than just supporters—you became family.

Now, Central Ohio has something we’ve never had before—multiple Black-owned craft beverage producers. And we’re bringing them all together under one roof.

I’m stepping down as CEO of Crafted Culture to focus on building Mecca Beverage House—a home for Black and minority-owned craft brands to brew, thrive, and grow. Inside Mecca, you’ll find:

🍺 Outlaw Cider & Alehouse – Bold ciders & fruit ales
🍻 DFQ Beer – High-quality craft beer with an attitude
🍯 Meulenated Meadery – Modern takes on ancient mead
🍹 Wild Ohio Wild T – A new spin on hard tea

This isn’t just about one brand anymore—it’s a movement, and you’re part of it.

It’s funny how things happen. In 2017, when the first pitch of Crafted Culture Brewing Company was presented, the only questions anyone had was “Who’s your brewer?” And “”Do black people drink craft beer?”
The second question was foolish and was dismissed with the quickness.

Even then the belief was that this concept was bigger than beer. But with no real brewer agreeing to rock wit the concept, Steven Leland (one of my brothers and best friends) agreed to teach Me how to brew beer.

He also shot sanitizer in all over me while trying to hook up equipment. 😂😂😂
