Redwood Advisors released its U.S. Wellness Industry Outlook 2023 report. Three findings of particular interest to the fitness industry:

1. Post-pandemic, consumers have shown a desire for a community experience that online services lack. In-person gyms are benefiting from a resurgence in in-person activities, which research suggests gym-goers prefer to at-home workouts.

2. Within the gym space, higher-priced boutiques and lower-priced gyms have captured recent growth at the expense of mid-priced players. Boutique players have particularly capitalized on low rents for vacant retail space.

3. Wellness brands are seeking to expand their portfolios as lines between nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and emotional well-being continue to blur. With consumers now visiting the gym for mental health as much as physical health, some fitness companies are integrating meditation into their platform.

Don’t be afraid to start humbly!

You don’t need fancy equipment or 4 walls to START. Just get started, and you will LEARN as you go! 🧠 💪🏼 Heck, a wise decision would be to learn from a coach or mentor as you go!

EVERY gym owner wants to “smash” their revenue goals, but in all honesty not everyone is willing to do what it takes OR knows how…

If you can relate, start doing these things immediately!:

- Increase the frequency of your social media posting
- Increase the quality of your social media content
- Increase your overall social media presence
- Increase the amount of marketing you put out into the community
- Increase the quality of your marketing in the community (Track your efforts, track your return, send your quality employees, etc)
- Increase the amount of in-club marketing you do
- Increase the quality of your in-club marketing
- Include a “Call To Action”
- Provide a QR code to assist the prospect through your sales funnel
- Take advantage of low hanging fruit in-club

Do these things and I promise you’ll start to see a difference 🔥🔥🔥

You can’t do it alone…

The Bible says:

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

- This is true in life and in business! Having a spouse that supports you is a Blessing. But serving God together and putting him in the center of your marriage and business is POWERFUL! it takes control out of my hands and into my Heavenly Father’s who loves me and has a plan for me.

My thoughts:

- Finding a wife that loves the Lord has unlocked doors I never thought could open

- Support from a spouse that loves you is VERY underrated

- My wife is my lifelong business partner & I never have to do it alone again

- My weaknesses happen to be my wife’s strengths & Vise versa (Thank you God for your provision!!!)

-We compliment each other well

-Our prayer time is that much more effective (Matthew 18:19-20)

- Brainstorming sessions are infinitely more productive

🙏🏼 Basically what I’m trying to say is that the combination of Your spouse, God, and yourself is something everybody needs especially if you’re also in business.
