So grateful for our team!

We gathered on Tuesday for some vision casting and goal setting (L10- iykyk), topped off with some theological training with our Pastoral Residency Director, Rich Nathan, on unity within and between churches.

We're excited to see what the Lord has in store for Columbus in the months ahead. We love what we do and how our work connects us with so many incredible leaders in our city.

Together we'll keep working to UNITE the Church of Columbus to be FOR the City of Columbus!

What if Columbus became known as a City of Prayer?

One City Prayer has always been about more than an annual gathering. It’s about building a culture and legacy of prayer in our city—one that can be passed from generation to generation.

We want the next generation of Columbus leaders to know that before strategies, programs, and plans, we seek God. We want them to know the power of praying for their families, churches, neighborhoods, and city.

We honor those who have prayed before us. We carry that mantle today. And we intentionally pass it to those who will lead after us.

When people throughout our city live lives of prayer and then come together in unity, imagine the impact that can have—not just today, but for generations to come.

Praying for the Next Generation 🙏

This past Friday, believers from churches across Columbus gathered at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum for the For Columbus Prayer Walk & Breakfast.

📖 “One generation shall commend Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts.” — Psalm 145:4

Together, we prayed for children, students, and young adults to know Jesus, grow in their faith, and boldly live out their identity in Christ.

We prayed for parents, grandparents, caregivers, youth pastors, teachers, coaches, mentors, and volunteers who faithfully invest in young people. We also prayed for protection, wisdom, and peace over every student, educator, and school community as a new school year begins.

Next month's prayer breakfast will take place on Sept. 25 at Bank Run Park in Lockbourne, and we'd love for you to join us! RSVP at forcolumbus.org/events!

Every Wednesday at noon, as the tornado sirens sound across Columbus, hundreds of believers are locking arms in prayer for our city.

We'd love for you to join us.

On Saturday, we had the privilege of gathering with local pastors for lunch during the Xenos Summer Institute.

We were honored to be joined by conference speakers Brian Sanders (Tampa Underground) and John Starke (Apostles Church NYC). It was a meaningful time to learn from one another, share wisdom, and continue strengthening relationships among pastors serving across our city.

We're grateful for every opportunity to encourage and connect local church leaders as we pursue the flourishing of Columbus together.
