Yesterday, the Church of Columbus came together around one shared mission: learning how to reach Gen Z with the truth of the gospel.

Pastors, ministry leaders, and believers from across our city gathered to hear from Aaron Pierce of Steiger International and to be reminded that Gen Z is not beyond reach.

Together, we gained practical tools for outreach, spent time in prayer, and talked about what it means to faithfully show up in the lives of the next generation with the hope of Jesus.

It was especially encouraging to see men and women from different generations, denominations, churches, and backgrounds united by a shared love for the young people of our city.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this gathering meaningful. Columbus, we’re better together.

We heard about a film that reflects Jesus' heart for unity in the Church, so we want to share it with you!

🎬 In theaters for today and tomorrow only!

*That They May Be One* is a powerful exploration of Christian unity, reconciliation, and the heart of Jesus’ prayer “that they may be one.”

The film weaves together thoughtful commentary, lived experiences, and cinematic storytelling to show both the pain division causes and the beauty of reconciliation in Christ.

This is more than a film to watch—it’s an invitation to reflect, repent, and move toward one another in love.

What if beauty is more than decoration? What if it helps shape the soul of a city?

For Columbus creative networks are gathering artists, storytellers, makers, designers, musicians, and culture-shapers across our city to explore how creativity can reflect the heart of God and contribute to the flourishing of Columbus.

The latest blog by network leader Tyler Mitchell, “Questing for Beauty in All Its Forms,” explores the importance of beauty, creativity, faith, and cultural renewal—and we’re inviting you deeper into the conversation. Read it at forcolumbus.org/stories. ✨

Also, join us on May 5 for the special screening of *Quest for Beauty* followed by an exhibition of works by William Schickel, a panel discussion, hors d’oeuvres, refreshments, and meaningful conversation around faith and beauty.

This is more than a film screening. It’s an opportunity to imagine together what it could look like for the Church and creatives across Columbus to cultivate beauty in every sphere of the city.

This morning, For Columbus gathered believers from area churches for a meaningful time of worship and prayer at Veritas Community Church in the Short North.

As we prayed together, we asked God for a dramatic decrease in depression, anxiety, addiction, and crime across our city. We also lifted up our local leaders, asking God to give them wisdom as they implement laws and programs that help safeguard our communities.

Scripture reminds us:

“All that is in the heavens and in the earth is Yours.” — 1 Chronicles 29:11

Because everything belongs to the Lord, we know He has the power to transform lives in Columbus.

We would love for you to join us at our next Prayer Breakfast on May 8 from 9:00–10:30 AM at Karl Road Baptist Church.
